Ian Templeton
Back in 2015, Ian had a vision for the perfect pop sound, but when he couldn’t find the right group to bring it to life, he built it himself. Fuelled by a passion for infectious melodies and high-energy performances, Ian hand-picked the best talent around. By early 2016, the dream became a reality when the band hit the stage for their very first show. Since then, Ian has been the heartbeat of the group’s sound, effortlessly switching between rhythm and lead guitar. You can hear his smooth backing vocals rounding out those signature Pop Pickers harmonies. For Ian, it’s all about the music, the fans, and keeping the party going!
Dean Elkins
A mainstay of the local music scene since the 1980s, Dean brings a powerful vocal and instrumental presence to the band. Having performed with acclaimed acts such as Reflex, Spirit, Camara, and Nemesis, his style is defined by a soulful vocal delivery inspired by Paul Rodgers and a melodic, high-gain guitar approach influenced by legends like Gary Moore and David Gilmour.
Marc Elkins
A veteran of the local circuit for over a decade, Marc provides the band’s rhythmic foundation and vocal layers. Having honed his skills with well-known acts Camara, Nemesis, and Lucid, he is a lifelong music enthusiast who spends his time away from the stage immersed in the festival scene. His playing is deeply informed by rock legends such as Pink Floyd, Status Quo, and The Eagles.
Danny Rowlands
Danny isn’t just a drummer; he’s a true veteran of the beat. Having been behind the kit continuously since the swinging sixties , he brings a lifetime of rhythm and a masterclass in versatility to the stage. From rock and soul to every genre in between, Danny has played it all, touring the live circuit and honing a level of expertise that most only dream of. Danny provides the rock-solid foundation that keeps the band, and the crowd moving. With his decades of experience and infectious energy, he proves that true talent only gets better with time!
